Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: June 20, 2026

Hansen Counseling Collective LLC is committed to ensuring that our website, hccmhk.com, is accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Conformance Status

We believe our Site substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to identify and remediate any gaps. Known measures already in place include:

- All images include descriptive alt text.

- The document language is declared (lang="en").

- Page titles are descriptive and unique.

- Pages include a logical heading structure (h1 through h3).

- The viewport does not block user zoom or scaling.

- Color contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA minimums.

- Keyboard navigation is supported throughout the Site.

Known Limitations

While we aim for full accessibility, some third-party content or embedded tools (such as the client portal or external appointment scheduling links) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We do not control the accessibility of those third-party services but encourage their providers to maintain accessible interfaces.

Technical Approach

This Site is built with Next.js and uses semantic HTML5, ARIA roles where needed, and Tailwind CSS with accessible color palettes. We regularly test with browser-based accessibility tools and aim to conduct a comprehensive review at least annually.
